Westside Timbers Premier Soccer Club, Beaverton, Oregon

Westside Timbers Premier Development Program

The Westside Timbers Premier Development Program is offered in both Beaverton and Tualatin/Sherwood.

Overview of Premier Development Program

Westside Timbers Premier Development
U9/U10: players born 2007 & 2008

The Premier Development Program is a bridge to competitive soccer. Players are required to tryout and selected players will be placed on a team with a Westside Timbers staff Coach. The commitment is for a year (May-April). This gives players and their parents the opportunity to get the feel for competitive soccer without the travel commitment required at U11 (players born 2006) and up.

The Westside Timbers Premier Development program is for skilled and motivated players who desire this increased level of competition and commitment to the game. Players must tryout to be selected to a team.

  • Our Premier Development Program runs from May through April
  • Tryouts are required and are in May
  • Twice weekly training by team coach (May-November)
  • Fall League Games (September-November)
  • Futsal training with team coach (January-February)
  • Weekly outdoor team training (January-April)
  • Spring League games (March-April)
  • Entry fee for 2 Summer Tournaments
    ⇒ Beaverton Cup - July 15-17 (3 day commitment)
⇒ Mount Hood Challenge - August 5-7 (3 day commitment)
⇒ Additional tournaments are at Coach's discretion - additional Team Fee will be required

Eligible players: are those born in 2007 and 2008

Players who tryout and do not make a Premier Development Team can have their registration rolled over to the Development Program (WDP) program, where they will be able to continue to develop the skills critical to continuing on in competitive soccer.

Please DO NOT register your child for both Premier Development Tryouts and the Summer Development Program. If your child is trying out for a Premier Development team ONLY register him/her for that program. If they do not make a team the office staff will move his/her registration to the Development Program (WDP) internally. This eliminates duplicate registrations.
