U.S. NATIONAL TEAM: UNDER-20: Currently one of 22 players in U.S. Under-20 camp ahead of U-20 CONCACAF Qualifying for FIFA World Youth Championships ... Led U-20s in scoring in 2004 with 7 goals, playing in 12 games (7 starts) ... Scored three of the team's four goals at the Northern Ireland Milk Cup ... coach Dana Taylor announced recruits to join the Beavers in the fall of 2005

Josh Cameron (Gresham, Ore./Centennial HS) is a three-year member of the Oregon ODP team and plays for the Westside Metros. He is a four-year starter at forward and midfield for Centennial High and was a teammate of fellow Beaver recruit, Mike Miller. As team captain at Centennial Cameron led the squad in scoring for the three straight seasons. He set school records for career goals (70), career points (181), single season assists (20) and goals in a single game (8) and earned all-state honors on two occasions.

Cameron has been a multi-sport athlete all four years of high school. He captains the Centennial basketball team for which he is an all-league point guard and is an all-league infielder for the baseball squad.

"Josh is a tremendous athlete who demonstrates incredible quickness and speed," said Taylor. "He is able to break players down on the dibble and separate himself from defenders. He has a true knack for finding the goal."


OREGON STATE: (2005) OSU sophomore midfielder Brett Gardner earned CoSIDA/ESPN academic all-district honors, being named to the men's first team.
A business administration major he has a 3.82 gpa.
9/25/05 he was named offensive MVP of the Gonzaga Nike Soccer Classic tournament after he scored two goals. OSU came in first place at this weekend's tournament.
(2004) Brett was recently named to the Bradley Classic All Tournament Team. Brett begins his career at OSU this fall... Played two years on the Region IV Regional Team and two years on the Oregon State team.
Sunset High School graduate & played eight years for Westside Metros.


NJCAA Men's Soccer Player of the Week Selections for Sept. 11-17 Player of the Week

Tyler Hasman , a forward from the third-ranked Yavapai College, is the NJCAA Division I Men's Soccer Player of the Week. Hasman led Roughriders to three consecutive conference wins this week putting them on top of the ACCAC. Yavapai's victories included a 2-1 win over Chadler-Gilbert Community College, Ariz., a 6-0 win over South Mountain Community College, Ariz., and a 5-0 win over Glendale Community College, Ariz. Hasman scored the team's only two goals in the 2-1 win over Chandler-Gilbert and had three of the six goals against South Mountain. Hasman ended the week with five goals, ten points, and ranked 19th nationally in scoring.


WILLAMETTE UNIVERSITY (2004) 9/8 Freshman Mike Rodrigues tied the game for Willamette (0-1-2) when he netted a rebound off a missed shot. It was the Bearcats first goal of the season.
10/10 Freshman Michael Rodriquez scored midway through the first half and the Bearcats made it stand up as the Willamette University men’s soccer team posted a 1-0 win over Pacific Lutheran University in a Northwest Conference. Rodriquez scored his second goal of the season.
10/24 Willamette’s Michael Rodrigues dribbled deep into Whitman territory and beat goalkeeper Eric Dottarar with a bullet into the left corner.
